The HUT Window Graphic Panels
Client: The HUT Leisure & Community Centre
The HUT is a Leisure, Community and Sports Centre based in Castleford, West Yorkshire. It offers a wide range of sports, leisure and youth activities to the local community, businesses and surrounding areas.
Originally, the HUT contacted Inchpunch to simply design and produce a series of outward facing window graphic vinyls. During the initial site survey it came to light that the client also wanted to feature graphics on the inside of the windows too but didn't know how to achieve this. We suggested printing both sides direct to 5mm PVC panels. This solution was not only more cost effective to print than the window vinyl option but the client could also install the panels themselves, which further reduced the overall cost.
The outside facing graphics shows a series of activities and facilities available at the HUT including ten pin bowling, football, table tennis, parties, roller disco, office space for hire, pool, basketball etc. A full list can be viewed on the panel directly facing the main entrance on the right.

The inside facing graphic acts as a vibrant backdrop to the newly refurbished bar area. In fact, the backdrop worked so well that we were instructed to create another graphic panel to be fitted to the front of the bar itself. As the bar panel would be in direct contact with the public we applied an anti-scuff laminate for additional protection.
The colourful and distinct visual style of the illustration makes the bar an attractive and unique focal point in the reception / waiting area.
