Making Digital Identity a Reality
Client: Open Identity Exchange (OIX)
The Open Identity Exchange (OIX) has a vision to create a world where we can all prove our identity and eligibility anywhere, using a simple and universally trusted ID. To make this a reality, they have established a community for all those involved in the ID sector to connect and collaborate. Together they develop the rules, tools and confidence to support the acceptance of universally trusted IDs and eligibility information.
To help deliver a wider understanding of their mission and framework, OIX recently held a conference that brought together global stake holders, UK Government representatives, industry experts, existing members and any organisations considering the adoption of digital ID.
Working alongside OIX's own marketing team, Inchpunch Design created a range of marketing material, including the main conference brochures. As the written content is very technology-led and statistic heavy, we decided to break this up with lighter, more human moments. After all, the main purpose of a Digital ID is to make our lives easier. The introduction of several "real people" photographs helped achieve this and it was very important we represented a balanced mix of genders, races and ages.
In a visual nod to the subject matter, you can only ever see part of our people images. This represents what we know about them. More interestingly, it's the bit we can't see that is the focus and because it's hidden, the person as a whole cannot be fully verified.

To help breakdown some of the more complicated information / data we created a range of bespoke diagrams and infographics. These visual aids proved very effective at simplifying complex processes and highlighting key benefits. They were also included in the main speaker powerpoint presentation.
As part of the wider conference marketing communication we also created a series of branded leaflets, programmes, event guides and two portable roll up / pull up banner stands.
