Museum Tales Rebrand
Client: Museum Tales Limited
Formed in 2012, York based Museum Tales Limited provides innovative learning and interpretation solutions for various arts organisations including English Heritage, British Library, National Media Museum and the National Portrait Gallery. Company director Sarah Shaw commissioned Inchpunch Design to redesign their existing logo and give it a modern and professional makeover.
Firstly, we reworked the realistic trilobite fossil illustration of the original into a simplified flat marque. In the centre is a single brightly coloured quotation mark. This relates to the companies strap line “Creating stories from museum collections”.
A combination of bold typography and a confident colour scheme completes the minimalist-inspired rebrand. The result is a progressive, less cluttered visual experience that is equally at home in both digital and print environments.
