Investment for Life Branding & Development
Client: Investment for Life Ltd.
Investment for Life is a small family owned financial planning company that has been established for over 30 years. Following continued year on year success they decided a fresh new logo and branding would help them engage with a wider audience.
Inchpunch worked closely with the company and their own appointed marketeer to help establish what they wanted from the new logo, branding and subsequent marketing collateral. The results included the following:
• Appeal to existing and new clients
• Convey the company's small and personal ethic
• Contemporary look but an established feel
• Incorporate their credible and reliable values
• Echo their professionalism
Understanding their business was the key to the creation of the logo. We quickly established several parallels between the financial planning sector and the game of chess i.e. an in-depth knowledge required (just to participate), the balance of risk versus reward, strategic planning involved for every move, a clear focus on the long term goal etc.
This "chess" concept was further developed to visually include the three founding family members of the Investment for Life team - Judith (Mum - Queen), Michael (Dad - King) and Joanna (Daughter - Pawn).

This "chess" concept was further developed to visually include the three founding family members of the Investment for Life team - Judith (Mum - Queen), Michael (Dad - King) and Joanna (Daughter - Pawn).
The new identity was applied to all the usual stationery items such as the letterhead, compliment slip and business card. We also created a newsletter header called the "En Passant" (named after a chess move). The remainder of the A4 newsletter is completely blank allowing the company to typeset and overprint their own content.
Personal Financial Plan Lever Arch Folder
To help customers keep all their financial documents in order, Investment for Life requested we design and print a fully branded lever arch folder complete with a series of bespoke page dividers. The sturdy paper over board folder construction and rigid laminated page dividers would ensure the documents would be safely protected for years to come.

To complete the company re-brand we designed a brand new "adaptive" website which would automatically resize itself depending on which device you are viewing it on (monitor / laptop, tablet or mobile). The fully CMS (Content Management System) website also includes a live Twitter Feed and Latest News slider.
